The requirements for floor coverings in healthcare are as diverse as the areas of use. Even in hospitals, the spectrum of floors extends from the reception to the operating room. There are also rehabilitation facilities, doctor's offices and of course related infrastructure such as kitchens, social and storage areas, staircases, waiting rooms, etc. In addition to robustness and resistance, floors often have to offer bactericidal properties or be conductive. The floor must also be highly anti-slip and gentle on the employees' joints. Health protection with relevant certificates is important in all areas in which we operate permanently. CONICA has developed and manufactured the HEALTHCARE flooring product line specifically to meet these demanding requirements.
CONIFLOOR IPS AS-ESD
Everything must be done quickly in intensive and urgent care. Nursing staff sprint and weave between hospital beds and wheelchairs. Add to this scene patients who are still able to walk but are not very sure on their feet. The floor surface in such an environment must offer a safe stance and comfort for the feet in equal measure, while of course it must be easy to clean. This is where CONIFLOOR IPS AS-ESD comes in – a conductive, colored polyurethane self-smoothing coating with an ESD-compatible, anti-slip seal for low and medium loads.
CONIFLOOR IEC
CONIFLOOR IEC is a floor that, in addition to safe footing and foot comfort, offers a high level of resistance and the ability to discharge static electricity. Rigid epoxy flooring is used where high mechanical strength and high chemical resistance are required and where static discharge capability is important. It is therefore ideally suited for use in laboratories and pharmacies.
CONIFLOOR IPS
CONIFLOOR IPS as a colored and flexible self-smoothing coating for medium mechanical load bridging cracks is an ideal solution for such surfaces. The floor is also tested for emissions and pollutants, making it suitable even for particularly sensitive areas.
CONIFLOOR LPC
Waiting rooms are very special places. They are full of people who don't feel well and who would actually prefer to be left alone. Some visitors walk in the waiting rooms of specialized clinics with only slippers on their feet. CONIFLOOR LPC contributes to a pleasant atmosphere in exactly such places. A colored, low-emission, crack-bridging and elastic polyurethane self-smoothing coating with a permanent color seal has been specially developed to provide decorative and comfortable surfaces. It is warm on the feet, non-slip and absorbs the sounds of footsteps and walking, thus turning the waiting room into a more comfortable space.
CONIFLOOR LPV
CONIFLOOR LPV (Living Polyurethane Vertical) is an elastic decorative wall coating for interior wall surfaces in interiors and wet areas (bathrooms, etc.).
